Rural America Ministries exists to empower rural churches and their pastors.


MISSION

Rural America Ministries strives to enhance the effectiveness of rural churches by equipping their pastors to build a leadership pipeline, increase their organizational capabilities and provide practical resources to help fulfill god’s vision for their church and its community!

History of RAM

RICH & KIM GREENWALD

Rich is a Native Montanan and currently serves as the Director of Rural America Ministries Network. Together, Rich and Kim have served as pastors of congregations in Wyoming and Montana for over twenty-five years. The Greenwald’s are US Missionaries to Rural America and carry a strong passion to partner with rural pastors to increase the effectiveness of rural ministry.  Rich and Kim are actively working to build a strong network of support for the rural churches of America. Rich and Kim have been married for over thirty five years. They have two  daughters and three granddaughters.




WES & DIANNE BARTEL

Wes Bartel founded Rural America Ministries Network in 2015 as a means to enhance the work of ministry in Rural America. For Wes, rural ministry has been a central focus of his life since his early years. Born on a ranch in Western Montana, his family attended a rural church that provided the foundation and primary structure for life and future ministry. With more than thirty years of experience in pastoral ministry, Wes and Dianne pastored rural churches in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana. He has also served as a District Youth Director, and as the National Director of Discipleship Ministries for the Assemblies of God as well as the Director of Senior Ministry.  They now live in Springfield, Missouri and travel to Arizona every winter to serve as chaplain at 2 RV parks. Wes and Dianne have been married for over fifty years. They have two married children and six grandchildren.
